I, II, III, IV, V

You'll remember it. You'll remember because he was the only one who was there for you when you needed someone the most, and the rest of the world ignored you. Maybe no one else cares because you're young and you have little to offer the world right now. You're not sure, but he's definitely different from every other older person you've met. You like him a lot, even, only after just a few hours of sitting with him. But, your meeting is up, because she's finally found you. Somehow. You're not sure if she was looking or if it she just got lucky. She looks between you and the Fire Magister, before she goes forward and Dai meets her halfway. You only end up near her, too, because you're clutching at his arm and need to go with him unless you want to let go. She's thanking him, crying. You wonder if she really means it or not. She usually treats you like you're a hassle, and, well, you are. But, you're just eight, what does she want from you? Be more like your father. Blah, blah.... whatever, you forget the rest because you never were really listening in the first place.

"Here," you say simply, reaching into your pocket and grabbing at something, only to shove it in his hand before you let go of it and slowly move to your mother's side. It's just a little payment for him staying with you; at least you think it could be because your parents are always saying how important it is. So, if it's worth something he can have it. You were seriously thinking about throwing it over the dock in the water earlier before he found you, anyway. "Come by sometime if you want, okay?" It's an offer since he looks unsure about accepting it, but you want him to hang onto it for now. If he really wants, he can try and give it back later. You actually don't think you'll ever see him again unless you go into politics like your mother. That's the only reason you'd ever have to deal with the royalty and the court again.

That's the last thing you want to do with your life. But, it's nice to think positive.

Your mother takes your hand, slowly stepping back now and going to pull you away. "Thanks," you say, and you resist the pull just long enough to say it and give a sincere smile. He says something in return and offers the smile back. Yeah, you won't forget that. No matter what because you're pretty sure that's the first time anyone's ever been honest in their kindness towards you.

I

They would pay. Somehow, you would make sure of it.

The doubt, however, that if they take everything from you, that you will not be able to follow through on your threat frightens you because you know the intent of these traitors.

Towards you. Towards them. The pain is gone—it shouldn't be gone (no no NO)—and Dai whispers something against your ear that infuriates you. You can feel his smile—and see hers, Belin's, because she's right above you and you can't move because it burns somehow [but you can't feel anything else, so why?] and he won't— (Let go) —and all you can do is glare defiantly but you know nothing will stop that knife.

They can't do this. (But they are).

They have no right. (It doesn't matter).

The blade slams down through your chest, cracking and shattering bone. You felt nothing, but you feel this—or you feel the realization of what you refuse to admit—and you can't help but scream.

You can't protect them, anymore.

Metal strikes your heart. And they can't protect themselves.

roxas, gamma, marluxia, soubi

II

Someone's calling your name. The murky blackness fizzles gray and your vision stabilizes just enough for you to see who is so worried—who you know you are going to let down. You know him well, even if you've never seen this individual before or only know him in passing, and it aches more than anything to see Caim's expression. He's lost, terrified, and he's saying something over and over, but you can't make it out. You don't need to, though, because somehow you can feel his fear, his denial, his pleas [No, nonoNo wake up please don't—].

You try to speak; you want to somehow laugh, you know, tell him it'll be okay, tell him to live because you know he won't deny you if you can just say it but the fact is you can't say anything. Don't blame yourself.

Only, your peace isn't meant to be, because your last few glimpses of the world is a third person slowly appearing above the two of you. Dai isn't looking at Caim, he's looking down at you. And his smile tells all.

And you wonder as your breathing gets heavier, for all those times you spent with the Fire Magister, why this had to happen. You never hated him.

Don't.

But, he grabs Caim's shoulder and you feel the futile panic rising as he leans down to say something against his ear. Dai pries Caim off of you, and as your world ends, it's still obvious that your death is in vain, because he's going die, after all.

You've never hated anyone. But in that last second, you may have learned to.

azmaria

III

Funny enough, you want this, but you can't suppress the urge to panic. It feels like you're drowning and you're caught between the instinct to survive—no, it can't end like this [please]—and the overwhelming desire to give up because really, what was it all worth fighting for? You felt something for this person—maybe you still do, but it's clouded by bitterness and hatred and a shamefulness at the thought that you might because it's hi— [no, it's mine ava erielle i'm sorry sosorry] —ault. Those most precious to you are dead now. You want them back, and you swear to god you would break this person apart if you could only have them.

And he had warned you. But you didn't believe him. This was your life. Your duty was your everything. Your sister. Your partner. Everything. Your orders were absolute. They were your strength, your rock. One person should not have been able to shake that foundation. One person should not have been able to destroy everything you built your life upon.

Why, you want to ask because he's still never answered you and you'll never know if he doesn't tell you now. But you can't, your eyes blurred by tears and blood as you stare up at him.

You can't remember the last time you cried.

You can't remember the last time he truly smiled at you.

Now is no exception. He's going to enjoy this. You're going to let him, too, because you deserve it for being so stupid. So blind. But, you're going to take him down with you.

He says something to you; it's almost endearing the way it sounds—you were friends with the Fire Magister once, right? It's humiliating, as if everything else wasn't enough—and you can't fake a smile back at him this time because he won't gets his hands off your throat and you can't fucking breathe. You choke something out, you don't know what, but maybe it hits home because you think he falters just slightly.

That's your only condolence because he is the last thing you see.

heine

IV

You were the last thing he saw.

But, that isn't good enough. Nothing will ever be good enough.

Your breath hitches, and you hiss an exhale at the pain shooting up from that gaping wound, the weapon responsible for such an atrocity lifeless on the floor without a wielder. There was a real thrill in that control, being able to strip him even from a final memory of a face that he would find more comforting in death; but you would be lying if you didn't admit to the hate you felt for his preference—his choice—and that you killed him only to suffer the fate of dying alone.

[It didn't have to be like this] you told him, [I would have given you everything]. But he was more stubborn in his pathetic broken little state than he'd ever been before. And you are caught between uncontrollable rage and delight at his last words because he finally said it, you got him to say it, broke him apart piece by piece until there was nothing left but the truth is that that wasn't what you really wanted out of him.

But you can't linger long on those thoughts, because your senses are starting to dull. Even so, the smell of blood is overbearing, both yours and his (we're not that different)—oh but mostly his because he's covered in it along with what was from his sister, his slate-blue hair matted to a sickly gray from it. The memory of killing him is vivid, and for all you've been through this should have been satisfying.

Yet, as you clutch his lifeless body a little closer—

(Caim never could have survived long enough for you to have been satisfied—to pay him back how you would have liked)

—your last thoughts are that those tears should had been because of you.

sasuke, kadaj

V

Insignificant.

But, he's dead.

They all are. And how bittersweet it is for you to be the last one standing, the only one not to be foolish enough to get involved in an array of emotions to make your downfall.

Ava and Caim were young. Foolish and weak, as much as they were interesting.

Dai was not. And you watched that unfold so quietly from the shadows over time, watched him get too caught up in things that he became blinded to what the original cause was in the first place. You never said a word, only the smallest smile here and there as he did what he did best. Ally or not, he couldn't change who he was; what he'd become.

It's quite unfortunate, Dai, you say, but you know he can't hear you even as you stare down at his corpse. There's no doubt he's dead, and she will be most displeased. And your time is limited, as well, perhaps, is it not? The city is disintegrating, its people succumbing to nothingness.

A high-pitched sound pierces your ears and you go to look behind you, but there is nothing to see.

—Time isn't limited, it's gone.

ranmaru, xiao, ganta, giovanni

Somnus Caelī

:: the sleep of the sky ::

-event part 2 ; the mortal & undead realm -

The characters that suffered under the actions of others and paid with their lives are now subject to their own choices; at least, as far as the possibility allows. Of the twelve, they will find themselves suddenly divided in half, lifted from location and company—no matter where they may be—and scattered. Perhaps it more unsettling than normal, however, because if characters can remember their last moments at home, this transition from their current place in Niflheim to their next destination maybe be all too similar to their transition from their homeworld to Nuadoria. A conflict of the senses. The vision of the world around them starting to peel, melt, turn into blackness. Nausea. Pain. Conflict of emotions. Everything and anything making no sense at all until it suddenly it all stops. Your character looks up, finds themselves in pitch blackness, and quite possibly—most likely—alone.

Again.

Somnus Sōlis (dream of the sun) ;

&; ⇒ But then there's a sudden flicker of light, like a torch ahead, not too far in the distance. And as your character gains their bearings and approaches, they'll notice they are not alone at all. There are others, a few others from Niflheim that they may have met or may have known or may have had no idea were even there to begin with. Once they step into the light of the single torch, it's as if it sets off a chain reaction: another lights, then another, and another, and again until the area is illuminated to reveal a very dreary, dark, and murky corridor of rusted iron bars and rotting walls. The air is musty and damp. Not too far off from the group on one end is an exit, but the door is locked, and there are no keys to be found. Further exploration in the other direction will take the characters down the line of cells, most empty or by now occupied by some so long dead their isn't anything left to rot.

But, that's just most. Because there is one cell... one cell that is different from all the others. And as your characters approach it and its occupant, this young man has his back to the bars, leaning against them defiantly. It's obvious he knows the others are there; that he's choosing to ignore the footsteps rather than he's oblivious to their presence—perhaps he's used to less than kind visitors? But after a moment he will glance out of the corner of his eye and that's when he tenses. His eyes flicker momentarily, a quick assessment of the others, before he slowly shifts to get a better look. He looks surprised as he turns fully to face the group, because, obviously, they are not the company he was expecting, to say the least.

rules & info;
.: this plot event will be run as a linear comment log.
.: comment log = your replies do not have to be epic long and amazing. We care more about progressing the plot and having fun than how creatively you can write a sentence. ♥
.: it may or not have an assigned logging order, depending on how many characters are present in the plot. This is at player discretion.
.: if there is a player order, the wait time for a response is 48 hours before the person may be skipped, for the sake of trying to keep the log going. AT has a very bad habit of dropping logs, and it'd be great if we could do everything to avoid that here.

how this is going to work ;
⇒ This part of the plot event was intended to run in a very traditional fashion of a log (a comment log to improve faster times and hopefully prevent people from getting bored/increase chances of it being completed) because it's supposed to be a very linear and crucial situation. If you haven't made the connection of who this character is, it's Fallon, and if you haven't made the connection of who Fallon is, he's very important, thus the concept of the characters helping Fallon is also very important. Not to mention, all three plots (the one with the keys, this one, and the one below) connect and relate to one another. And this plot can't be held up.

However, because this type of event is really structured and will suffer due to people lagging and not being active (and the log replies do not have to be long at all, thus the reason for comment logs for plot events), the rule for response is 48 hours if there is an assigned posting order. If you do not make your post within 48 hours of the last post made (the person in the posting order before you), the person in the posting order may skip you and post without waiting for you. Your character will be assumed there/simply following along (unless of course no one else decides to respond, then you're just lucky, but that's the waiting time).

⇒ Because this is simply a log, this is going to be dependent on the creativity of the players even moreso than the other plot. The objective of the characters is/weill clear and what they will face (for the most part), but it's up to you to move it forward and do character development along the way. They have a rare opportunity to learn plot points they may not get another chance to learn, being on such a personal level with Fallon. Basically, Drive the log forward, don't wait around for the NPC to do it, make it fun for everyone within the perimeters given. ♥

ATMOSPHERE INFORMATION & OBJECTIVES
The characters helping Fallon are still dead and the group is still in the Abode of Mist. In actuality, they are in the bottom of the cathedral—the dungeons—and the goal is to help Fallon and for all of them to escape. Unbeknownist to all of them (Fallon and the characters), Fallon actually has the last key, which is vital to fixing current problems in the living realm, so while they don't know it, you as players can see how important it is they get out successfully! The escape will take the characters up through the main area of the cathedral and through a pseudo version of the Tree of Life that the living characters are currently involved in searching for the keys. The difference is, everything is static and skeletal (think of it as if "the tree" died). Everything is solid, there are no traps, there are no keys, there are no obvious roads to go. HOWEVER, what is there is the same thing that haunts the living, and that's Caim's poisoned element bleeding everywhere:

Beyond that, your characters will be facing an artificial set of obstacles in the set of falling stalactites made of ice composites and temperatures will be frigid. DO NOT let your characters be struck by these stalactites unless you wish to have them face serious consequences. The cold and the stalactites are obstacles courtesy of Caim, and while normally it'd be just painful, with his current poisoned condition his element is just downright deadly. All of his ice and element is tainted with what he's poisoned with and if your character is sliced or hit by any of it, they will also be poisoned. The poison is more like a living organism, and it and works to cease all voluntary motor functions, leaving your character susceptible to becoming a puppet of the organism and nothing more than a shell. It's a very very painful process and while Caim is holding out, he's losing and your characters will fall much faster than he will. And there is no cure, so once your character succumbs (and once the mod says they're done struggling and lost, they're done) they will be out of the picture until the end of the plot.

It's just as dangerous to the dead—the only advantage they have is that they're more resistant to its effects so it'll take longer to put them out of commission. So be careful! Basically, while the characters hunting for the keys are going through trials within the, the dead trying to escape Niflheim with Fallon are going through something akin to a huge maze. They will only be able to successfully proceed through paths that have been cleared by the key hunters in the living realm. The characters will not have any way to figure this out; it'll have to be deducted by trial and error. But once someone figures it out, if they can catch up to one of the two groups, they should be able to simply follow them around (yes, if the dead group end up on one of the platforms that the key hunting groups is on, they'll be able to see them, even though that group can't see them.) Since it's too hard to coordinate that, it'd be up to the players in the this log to decide if they wanted that to happen and simply write it in at some point (So you wouldn't need to "time" it with the players in the key plot, just hand waive it).

Somnus Lūnae (dream of the moon) ;

&; ⇒ But then there's the rushing sound of water, despite the darkness, and one minute your character is in nothingness, listening, and the next, they blink and find themselves staring up at towards the sky to the ceiling of this structure. Whether they were standing, kneeling, walking, conscious, or unconscious moments before, they are are now lying on their back. Getting up to look around, they'll notice they're not alone: there are others, a few others from Niflheim that they may have met or may have known or may have had no idea were even there. The most significant thing in the area they are in is the large crystallized pillar in the center, with the body of a comatose—possibly dead—young woman encased inside. Further and closer inspection doesn't draw any further conclusions, and a look around outside of the structure the characters have landed in does not give a very good feeling. There is something wrong with this place they've ended up in, and while its not in the disarray that Nuadoria is now in, there is something not right in the air, as if the area was bracing for something catastrophic. And if they have any doubt they are alive, that perhaps this is some new realm of the dead, they needn't, because they are indeed branded with the mark of the fire magister somewhere on their body. The question is, if they are not in Nuadoria, where might they have ended up, alive? And should they consider themselves lucky?

Before any of the group can leave the structure to further investigate, the transparent figure of a woman identical to the girl inside the crystal enters. Your characters may be surprised, but she pauses at the entrance when she sees the visitors, reflecting the sentiments in return.

rules & info;
.: this plot event will be run as a linear comment log.
.: comment log = your replies do not have to be epic long and amazing.
AT has a very bad habit of dropping logs, and it'd be great if we could do everything to avoid that here.

how this is going to work ;
⇒ This part of the plot event was intended to run in a very traditional fashion of a log (a comment log to improve faster times and hopefully prevent people from getting bored/increase chances of it being completed) because it's supposed to be a very linear important situation (thus why it's a smaller number of people).

However, because of this, the plot will suffer if people lag and are not active. Since the log replies don't need to be long (we're doing comment logs, remember), the rule of response is 48 hours from the previous person's post in the log if there is an assigned posting order before your turn is skipped and your character is assumed there/simply following along (unless of course no one else decides to respond, then you're just lucky, but that's the waiting time).

⇒ Because this is simply a log, this is going to be dependent on the creativity of the players even moreso than the other plot. The objective of the characters is/will be clear and what they will face, but it's up to you to move it forward and do character development along the way. They have a rare opportunity to learn plot points they may not normally get a chance to learn—if they ever get the opportunity again. This girl, Erielle, is the essence of the tree and responsible for its structure. She's also someone incredibly important to Caim. There's a lot of potential for interesting plot if you guys want it! Drive the log forward, don't wait around for the NPC to do it, make it fun for everyone within the perimeters given. ♥

ATMOSPHERE INFORMATION & OBJECTIVES
Unlike the characters with Fallon, these characters are alive, just currently trapped in Keter with no way of escaping (they're there courtesy of Gaea, but they cannot leave. Keter is not able to be opened from the inside, only opened with the keys). So, characters are at the "highest" point of the cathedral on another plane, although its still considered part of the living plane (It's sort of like just a special place within the living realm).

Erielle will explain things more to the characters, but basically Keter is awaiting its own destruction at an accelerated pace(remember your characters heard the sound of rushing water right before they ended up here? Yeah.) and at the rate the people searching for the keys are going with Caim slowing them down, Keter isn't going to hold itself together long enough for them to fix what needs to be fixed in order to save everything. So, it's up to your characters to find a way to stabilize Keter long enough that it doesn't destroy itself. Unfortunately, they can't singlehandedly save Nuadoria as they are missing the Key of Keter (which Fallon's group incidentally has—maybe you can see how every piece of the plot is starting to connect), but they can buy time, as well as help free Erielle and allow her soul to reconnect with her body, as she is only currently with them as a ghostly entity. Still, without them stabilizing Keter, consider everyone dead, including themselves. ♥

This group will be racing against time and probably fight a guardian monster that will block the path to the control panel that will help stabilize Keter. Success is defeating the monster and getting to the control panel and activating it.

extra;
⇒ Since this group is alive, they have the ability to use the network and talk to others, despite being stuck in Keter. So they can explain their situation, cause panic, etc.

Somnus Nemoris

:: dream of the tree ::

-event part 1 ; the mortal realm -

While the characters never technically leave the cathedral, once they start on this mission, it is as if they transcend to another level void of the laws of time and space. Here, there is no concept of time—it doesn't pass the same as it does outside this area. While here, they don't need to eat, they don't need to sleep (although recovery from exhaustion from battle is required). Although initially, as they walk their first chosen paths this seems like a normal passageway to different rooms, it will soon become clear its very different. The circles on the map represent "Pillars", areas where the keys are held and where the characters must obtain them in order to proceed to the next path.

rules & info;

.: each key can open up to two passageways depending on which direction the characters enter from (the third is the passage that the team/character(s) enter the pillar from).
.: once a path is decided on, there is no turning back. Characters can only move forward, they cannot turn around and head back the way they came.
.: a key can only be used once. If a key can open two pathways and is used to open one, it cannot be used to open the other pathway, even on a different pillar. (example: the key of netzah can open the pathway to hesed, tiferet, yesod but once used to open one of these paths cannot be used to open the other two. They will lock and another key will have to be obtain to enter those pillars on a different path.
.: after each key is obtained, a portal will open at the most current pillar, with a maximum of two portals open simultaneously. These portals will act similar to Dungeon RPG teleports in which characters in teams can exit the tree of life maze for whatever reason (say the player has work to do and can't keep up with the search for the next key). The teleports will drop them off in the main entranceway and allow characters to travel back to the main parts of the cathedral. Likewise, characters wishing to assist in the key hunting/etc. late in the game may use these portals to meet up with the other current characters (since the pathways all lock and the keys are taken with the characters, there's no way for anyone to catch up to the teams and to go through the maze from the beginning).

how this is going to work ;

⇒ Characters were allowed to pick one of two ways to enter the "tree". Once they enter, they will travel down the corridor until it gets it becomes pitch black and they can see nothing anymore, and will find a small lighted path of steps ascending up into the darkness and eventually they will set foot onto a random pillar (pillar assignment is listed below just above the image map). So, while the characters were in Dai's company, they were not in the tree and thus did not access any pillars nor did they bypass or obtain any keys.

⇒ Because paths were already decided (to avoid confusion and the fact many of the players right now are scattered), after thoughtful consideration, it was determined that organized logs for this events were not the way to go, at least in terms of collecting the actual keys on the pillar. Therefore, below is the general description of the atmosphere and hazards your characters will be facing on their quests to obtain these keys. With this information in mind, feel free to start your own logs, or make network posts in response to such things (even though time flows differently in the tree, because of the fact we won't have an organized log, we'll just assume that transmissions still connect and post normally).

ATMOSPHERE INFORMATION
Each pillar should be thought of as a pillar almost literally. As far as your characters can see, there are no walls or ceilings to these "pillars", only a floor. At the center of each platform is a key in a crystallized casing, but before your characters can simply walk up to grab the keys, a set of puzzles will initiate that will prevent them from getting to the key and need to be solved before they can have access to it. Successful completion of the puzzles/obstacles will give them access to the key. Once the key is obtained, the possible choice of paths will be available in the form of lighted "floating steps". But first, they'll have to answer a cryptic question with provided choices, and those choices will direct them down the correct path.

concerning the puzzles: Each pillar has a random set of puzzles that need to be completed in order to get the key. The puzzles are left ambiguous, but assume your characters are faced with them and must work (together or alone) to complete them. However, puzzles are not the only things your characters need to worry about. There are traps associated with the puzzles, particularly ones that cause floor tiles to disappear or disintegrate if the puzzle is not completed within a certain amount of time. If characters fall through the floor, they will be immediately ejected from the tree and back into the cathedral with significant injury (consider the injuries equivalent to falling from a very high place).

There are no mind altering effects in the tree of the life, the only things the characters will be seeing are the memories during their transitions from one pillar to another.

⇒ Death works the same way in the tree as it does anywhere else. However, dying doesn't necessarily automatically occur for the same way. If your character does indeed die, they suffer the same consequences, but falling through the floor into nothingness may not necessarily mean their death. In the case of a "death" or a "Knock out" experience, characters will be thrown back out into the main corridor where Dai first left them and they will have to recover from some injuries before returning to help with the key hunting.

extra;
every key successfully acquired and path chosen will allow the chance for new plot information to be available to the characters from their transition from one pillar to another. There are twenty-two plot sequence possibilities—all someone's dream-like memories of Nuadoria's past, including current NPCs—but not all of them are attainable. Choices in which path decide which sequences will be made available to the teams, and only the characters that are present for the transition on the path from one pillar to another will see the dream and have the information ICly.

Keter Before Nuadoria's mysterious destruction, Four Magisters were assigned at any given time, each one a master controller of a respective element. This control was designated as an unsurpassed affinity to pull, manipulate, and execute elemental energy offensively and defensively with flawless mastery, making them invaluable in combat. Officially, for the public, they were Masters of the Military—top generals specializing in different war tactics. Unofficially, however?

They were dogs of the royal family; at their beck and call for everything and anything: from assassins to ambassadors. At the core, they were a limitless power system set up to ensure the royal family their continued reign, and the Magisters themselves were only restrained in power by one another in order to prevent chaos.

While the current four Magisters were the last to hold power, their code of conduct has strayed from their predecessors into something all its own. They've split and their sense of unity has all but disappeared. Now, with Nuadoria in ruins, their purpose is unknown, but they seem willing to finish what they started, if necessary, regardless of who they involve.

THE RUIN ♦ ignis
Mercurial and insidious, Dai is as charismatic to those around him as he is observant, although he may not initially seem it. Presenting himself to the refugees of Nuadoria as the Inquisitor, the Fire Controller has shown to be the friendliest the four Magisters and the most interested in their dire situation. While he has been arguably the most helpful, as well, Dai also could be considered the most enigmatic of the four in terms to what his real agenda is. A master at twisting words and arising beneficial opportunities from any and all situations, he stands at the center between the characters, the ones he left behind, and the ones he supposedly joined making it unclear if he's really on any side and out for anyone's welfare but his own. His partner is the Air Magister, Belin. His superior elemental is the Ice Magister, Caim. He and Caim share a past history together, one that that he is quick to remind Caim of, although their reactions towards one another in the present make it difficult to decipher exactly what that history was. It's been hinted that their trust in one another was shattered during an incident involving a split within the four Magisters, but little is known past that other than their relationship seems long damaged past the possibility of repair.

THE BALANCE ♣ glacies
Cold and dismissive, Caim was the first of the Magisters to contact the refugees of Nuadoria, assisting them without a physical form and then later assisting them when the first set of individuals were murdered in a terrorist attack. His motives both in general and with the refugees in the city are completely unreadable, leaving it a wonder as to why he often bothers engaging with any of them at all. He's shown a slightly kinder side from time to time, hinting that the Ice Controller isn't so much cruel in his ways as he simply lacks the natural ability to properly understand and express emotion. While his most emotional reactions tend to be of impatience and anger towards others, he's shown that he does has some sort of personality in regards to the other Magisters. He lost a sister during Nuadoria's Armageddon, and while everything else seems to have little effect on him, this loss and an unknown other seem to haunt him. His partner is the Earth Magister, Ava. His superior elemental is the Air Magister, Belin. He and the Fire Magister, Dai, shared a special friendship once upon a time, but it has long since disintegrated. They both seem to blame one another for its demise. He seeks to avoid the other now at all costs, including in conflict.

THE ORDER ♥ terra
Reserved and calm, Ava holds herself with a cold, frigid air to hide the level of concerned warmth that drifts just beneath her surface. She is intolerant of nonsense, however, and her loyalty to those that she cares for is unsurpassed, though her temper is not something to be toyed with. She is unforgiving when she wants to be, hard and violent when she must be, and softly subdued when it is required of her. She shows a strange, quiet interest in the citizens of Nuadoria, though whether that interest is positive or negative is not yet known. While the Earth Controller is the least seen of the Magisters and the least social, she provides valuable insight when present, often with the lack of emotion that her fellow Magisters coat their words with giving a less judgmental presentation. Her partner is the Ice Magister, Caim. Her superior elemental is the Fire Magister, Dai. Caim and Ava share a mutual understanding with one another, beyond a normal partnership and she is the only female other than his sister he is comfortable around. He trusts her with his life and vice versa. She also once held a great amount of respect for Dai and a degree of admiration for Belin, but those feelings diminished permanently after their betrayal was brought to light.

THE CHAOS ♠ aer
Lofty and elegant, Belin often comes across as exceedingly focused on grace and on power. Although she never appears hostile, and she generally speaks to the refugees in the city with courtesy, a close observer may notice that the Air Controller is never straightforward nor is she benevolent, either. Her motivations remain unknown, and she seems to operate on her own agenda, interfering little with the actions of others. Like Dai, she has a strong interest and appreciation in intelligence and assessing worthiness in others by conversation. She is also rather clever with her word choice and enjoys using vagueness to her advantage as well as others' words against them —although, she rarely engages in the level of intimate conversation that the Fire Magister does with those who catch his interest. Her partner is the Fire Magister, Dai. Her superior elemental is the Earth Magister, Ava. Unlike Ava and Caim her partnership with Dai seems strung together with a completely different mindset. While the two often work together—and do so dangerously well—it's not uncommon to see them performing solo. She and Dai were involved in an incident which culminated in the shattering of the trust that existed between the Magisters.

.:| SUBSIDIUM |:.

THE DISCORD
Resolute and gracious, Erielle is forward and polite in her ways, and often playful in her tactics to ease those around. The High Priestess sees the foreigners who have come to Nuadoria as the top priority to be protected. Unlike the Magisters, the idea of them being involved in their affairs bothers her greatly. While she is generally concerned about most, Erielle prioritizes her twin brother, Caim, taking it as her personal duty to protect him. It's only around her that his personality is noticeably different, and it's clear they see something in one another that no one else can. Having spent much time with her brother through the years, she's also particularly close to the Earth Magister, Ava, whom, in turn, is immensely fond of her. Erielle has an affinity for the light element due to her position, and is proficient in the use of a weapon. However, her real strength lies in her rare ability as an amplifier.

THE SOLACE
Just and Empathetic, Fallon was the last heir to the Nuadorian Empire before its collapse. He was praised for his kindness and dedication to his people as well as his willingness to work with other countries in attempts to avoid unnecessary conflict. He is concerned about the state of Nuadoria and the unfortunate victims that have been pulled into its grasp to suffer and is willing to involve himself in order to guarantee their safety. Ava and Caim have been and remain fiercely loyal to him despite never officially ascending the throne. In turn, he has great respect for them, with Caim even being a rather close friend. Fallon, like Erielle, wishes for the conflict between the Magisters to end, although it's impossible to ignore the mutual malice between him and the Fire Magister. It seems their conflict simply stems from the betrayal, but perhaps is more deeply rooted than what is shown on the surface.

THE SHADOW

✖ The self-proclaimed Admin to the Network System, Lilith (or Lily, to some) is actually a personification of the system itself. Her presence in Nuadoria is rare, although is the only one to consistently show up in times of crisis and offer somewhat concrete advice. Her top priority is currently the safety of the outsiders that have landed in Nuadoria, as well as finding a solution to the issues at hand and finding them a way home.

✖ Caim's constant companion, Dalamar seems to be some type of hybrid fire & ice elemental that takes its form in that of varying large cats. He seems to have above average intelligence and is often curious about the newcomers (he's fond of Zero and Sasuke), and has been known to come to their aid in times of need.

OTHERS
✖ AZMETH: A high ranking fire elemental child (demon) that takes the form of a massive spider-like creature. Currently, he is under the control of Rhode Kamelot. His human form suggests a dark and uninterested personality, disregarding others like trash (except for Rhode whom he is indifferent to, maybe even a bit protective of) although he is mute due to his pact agreement.
